Walking in the Garden

"Toward evening they heard the Lord God walking about in the garden." ~ Gen. 3:8a (NLT)

My desire and my prayer: to more and more often recognize the Lord God walking beside me throughout my day. May the Lord move me closer to the relationship He had with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden--not a relationship characterized by a god who only watches from afar but as the Creator who walks with me in the garden of my life, moment by moment.

And even more beautiful--that my God, who already knows my failures and sins, still seeks me out and walks into my life. While walking through the Garden, the Lord God knew Adam and Eve already had eaten the apple, already knew they had disobeyed, yet He still came with open arms.
