I again have fallen a couple of days behind, but I wanted to point out just a few quick things about this week. Hopefully, they will stir your interest to study these on your own and/or post about the topics.
First, the book of Esther is a wonderful book for so many reasons. I'd encourage reading it again when you have time.

Second, we are shown a very clear in-your-face prophecy about the coming of Jesus.
"Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD. Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. Be still before the LORD , all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling." (Zechariah 2:10-13)
Notice that the first-person "I" is identified as the Lord (declares the LORD). This incarnation is also identified as individual (for lack of better term) from the Lord Almighty who sent Him. This prophecy of Jesus' coming was written over 400 years before His birth in Bethlehem.
There are some religions/cults that claim that Jesus is not God, or that He is even the incarnation of the archangel, Michael. Here, clearly, He is identifying Himself AS God, as a second personage of the triune Godhead. "I will live among you, declares the Lord." "you will know the Lord Almighty has sent me".

Third, Zechariah 6:11-13 gives more insight into the king priests that Jesus would fulfill. This would be an interesting study and topic for discussion, if any one would care to begin. Consider the names Joshua (the successor to Moses, and this son of Jehozadak) and Jesus - the same Hebrew names. This is no light-weight study.

Fourth, Zechariah 11:12-13 is a perfectly plain prophetic picture of Judas' bloodmoney payment, how he threw it into the temple, and then how it was ultimately used. You just know that the event couldn't pass the attention of the Pharisees at the time that it happened....could it?? (Read Matthew 27:3-10)

Fifth and last, reread and pay close attention to the prophecies of Zechariah 12 and 14 which are describing the last days. God says Jerusalem will be made a burdensome stone to all nations. One source states that the Israeli situation constitutes 1/3 of the UN Security Council's attention. Israel's landmass is only slightly larger than New Jersy, and its current population is around 7.5 million. (compare to New York City's population of 8.3 million) This one city of Jerusalem in the tiny country of Israel has been a burdensome stone since it's re-establishment in 1948.
Are you convinced that we are in that last day?
